About the Role:
As an Installation Technician, you'll play a key role in the safe and professional installation of residential and commercial septic systems, working directly with customers, health departments, and inspectors. You'll operate heavy equipment like excavators and skid steers, read blueprints and site plans, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.

What You'll Do:
Operate excavators and skid steers to dig trenches for septic tanks and drain linesRead and interpret blueprints and site plans to determine proper system layoutInstall septic tanks and piping systems according to local codes and permit requirementsWork with inspectors, suppliers, and team members to complete projects correctly and efficientlyPerform system inspections for real estate transactions and troubleshooting servicesEducate customers on system operation, maintenance, and available service optionsMaintain accurate paperwork and documentation for each jobWork overtime, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations as neededRequirements:
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent3+ years of heavy equipment operation experience (excavators, skid steers)Valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement and a clean driving recordPrior septic installation and repair experience requiredAbility to read and draw simple septic system diagramsStrong communication and customer service skillsComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsBasic computer literacy (email, internet)Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical exam, and road testWillingness to work weekends and on-call rotations during peak seasons
