CORPORATE TRUCK DRIVER TRAINER/ CDL DRIVER SUMMARY:
The Class A Truck Driver will transport flour/grain/liquid/materials for our customers, locally, regionally and OTR. This position is primarily responsible for safely training all new drivers, retraining existing fleet drivers as needed, driving a Class A commercial motor vehicle and requires compliance with DOT and safety regulations. Assisting the President & General manager in tasks assigned.
Pay breakdown:
$2,403.85 weekly.Touch freight and drop and hook, as needed.
CORPORATE TRUCK DRIVER TRAINER/ CDL DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.Open to all shifts including evenings and weekends, and overnights. Some weeks may require working of recap hours per DOT allowable standards.Transport flour/grains/oils/ liquid materials to our customers throughout North America.Assist in delivery of missed loads, moving trailers around the yard, and operation of feed loaders.Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.Train all new drivers in proper company loading & unloading procedures. Train new hires in all aspects of the job.Assist with emergency vac. work, silo clean outs, rail transfers.Maintain accurate records and logs.Load/Unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight, if required.Road test new driver applicantsMentor new drivers and be the first point of contact on all drivers' needs in the field for loading & unloading concerns.Responsible for assisting the General Manager in the safety of all drivers and equipment.Assist with coaching drivers.Confirm accuracy of BOL, Seals and trailer number after hooked to the trailer. Report any discrepancies to a supervisor before departing. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.Make repairs as necessary to company equipment and communicate to GM the time spent, and parts used.Operate a mobile sifter when needed by the customer.Report all spills to a supervisor and clean up after yourself. Maintain accurate records and logs.Load/Unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight, if required.Always keep the tractor clean on the inside, wash the tractor bi-weekly. Remain outside of the cab of the truck when loading or unloading in all weather conditions.Reseal all trailers when empty. Report all detention and delays at the customer over 2 hours beyond your appointment to your supervisor. This position may require travel, delivery and pick ups in all of the lower 48 states, possibly Canada.Other tasks as assigned.

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle (Grain Hopper, Dry Van, or Bulk Pneumatic preferred):12 months experience within the past 3 years, OR2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR5 years' experience within the last 10 years.Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions in English.Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.TWIC Card & Passport
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Cranking of handles.Lifting, as needed.Long periods of sitting while operating a CMV.Loading & Unloading in all weather conditions.Climbing ladders and steps as needed with proper 3-point contact.Swinging of mallet repeatedly as needed.
