Job Description

We are in search of a CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role will ensure safe and accurate deliveries to our customers.

Responsibilities Include:
Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehiclePick-up loads and organize goods in an ordered, logical mannerEnsure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damageSafely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinationsStay on a predetermined route and ensure timely deliveriesCommunicate with dispatch as neededConfirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest documentPerform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each tripNotify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encounteredMaintain detailed driving and delivery logsComply with ICC and DOT regulations
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferredValid Class A driver's license required2+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferredClean driving record Must pass a background check, physical and drug testComfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailerAlert, focused, and detail-orientedAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. at a timeAble to operate an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.Proficient using GPS and other routing systemsHigh level of composure and good stress management
Compensation & Benefits:

This is a union position with a starting pay rate of $23.65/hour in accordance with the CBA. In addition to base pay, IFS offers a comprehensive benefits package to support the health and well-being of our associates and their families.
