Position Description
Drive a commercially licensed truck to haul various materials and/or equipment to and from specified destinations while performing duties safely and efficiently. May be required to travel depending on the crew and job site locations. Job posting for the 2025 construction season with anticipated season start in April 2025.

Duties and responsibilities
Perform pre-trip inspection according to DOT regulationsMust be able to kneel, reach, and maneuver under the truck with approximately 2 feet of clearance to properly inspect and/or repair the truck/trailerMaintain driver's log according to DOT regulations and completed timecards legibly and accuratelyComply with company and DOT Drug & Alcohol regulationsComply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulationsFollow the supervisor's instructions on material and/or equipment pickup and delivery proceduresMay be required to drive combinations with a variety of trailers such as live bottom, end dump, pups, bottom dump, side dump, flatbed, or lowboy. Must be able to hook and unhook these combinations properlyMust be able to turn leg jacks up and down to lift or drop the trailerTravel to various job sites may be requiredAll other duties as assigned, delegated, or necessary for operations
Position Requirements
Qualifications
One year of Commercial driving experience preferredPossess a valid Class A Commercial driver's licenseAbility to pass a pre-employment urine drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
Working conditions
Outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperaturesOccasional exposures to fumes, dust, odors, heights, and loud noisesMay be required to work 60+ hours, 6 or more days a week
