Entry Level - Civil Design Engineer in Training - Transportation

Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a motivated and driven Entry Level - Civil Design Engineer in Training to work with our Transportation Group in Savannah, GA.
Working at the direction of a Professional Engineer, will prepare construction drawings, layouts, and exhibits in accordance with GDOT Plan Presentation Guide & Electronic Data Guidelines, and/or SCDOT plan preparation guide. Experience using AutoCAD is required and experience using Civil 3D, OpenRoads, Microstation software is preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Previous internship in a related field preferred.
Education: BS or MS from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering. EIT Certification or the ability to receive EIT certification within 6 months.
Skills:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Ability to communicate both verbally and in writingThe ability to work a regular schedule of 730AM - 530PM Mon-Thurs and 730AM - 1130AM FriProven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasksHighly client service oriented, self-starter, and team playerAbility to solve problemsExcellent time management skillsPlease note, sponsorship is not available for this position.
