Qualifications
We are currently seeking a Transportation BIM Lead to support our Infrastructure service group at the national level.
The Transportation BIM Lead will have the opportunity to direct the Digital Delivery evolution as it relates to the transportation market and will be responsible for leading innovative project delivery initiatives across various geographies. This role will interface with multiple project teams across the country, including a full range of disciplines (highway, drainage, structures, signals, lighting, ITS, etc.) to advise, design, and produce key projects emphasizing digital delivery and 3D design workflows. They will be responsible for coordinating and deploying corporate solutions to address the next generation of technological advancements while staying integrated within the project delivery process.
Responsibilities:
Direct the deployment of Digital Delivery and BIM related workflows for our Transportation Market at the corporate levelOperate nationally as a lead resource to deliver critical, high-profile projects that require the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and/or emerging design workflowsSupport strategic pursuits and project digital deliveries across various geographiesEnsure national operational capabilities across the Transportation market are sufficient to meet evolving client demands as well as strategic marketing objectivesLead national efforts to deliver high-profile transportation infrastructure projects using advanced technologies, innovative design workflows, and Digital Engineering practices, including overseeing 3D Model quality control standards and workflowsDevelop and manage resources for project onboarding, mentoring of younger associates, and standardizing Digital Delivery practices while providing training on best practices and standardized workflowsCreate and deliver internal and external training resources and workshops on innovative software and technology, identifying and evaluating new solutions, leading pilot and proof of concept evaluationsFoster relationships with key clients, industry organizations, teaming partners, and stakeholders to identify and develop new business opportunities, ensuring regional operational capabilities meet evolving client demands and strategic marketing objectives within the Infrastructure service groupAct as an internal leader, liaison, and external ambassador for emerging design innovations, staying informed on industry trends impacting infrastructure and construction managementPartner with out market leaders to ensure consistency application of BIM standards across the organizationSeek innovative solutions across non-traditional workflows to support the next generation of project needs
Basic Qualifications:
Have a degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program with an emphasis in transportation engineering and 15 years relevant experience working in the transportation design industry with 3D/BIM Be a professional engineer in good standing.Be knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.Excellent working knowledge of OpenRoads Designer and PW365/Infrastructure CloudHave proven background and ability to make decisions that have significant impact to an organization, as well as recommend operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results. Be recognized as a thought leader in the industry and have experience leading the work of multiple disciplines and participating in and/or having decision-making on technical matters within discipline.Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with senior leadership on matters of strategic importance.Have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
