Description

The Operations Supervisor handles all aspects of the day to day shift operation for the assigned site. This includes ensuring all KPIs for the shift are met and the next shift is set up for success which will allow the building to meet the operation and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

Assist General Manager to Ensure; Building Safety & Planning
Ensure all Safety documents are signed of on and all safety procedures are followed All PPE are in place and used as instructedEnsure lifts are signed out and inspected
Assist General Manager to Ensure; Labor Planning
Plan labor to follow production or customer needsUtilize labor for VAS (value added services)Remove excessive labor for profitability and efficiencyTrack and train associates to maximize utilization Assist in retention and turnover
Work Closely with General Manager to Support Staff Development by Cross Training/On-Job Training
Conduct daily start up meetings and present daily plan and provide updatesTrain, motivate and assist in the development and growth of employeesImplement and maintain continuous improvement programChallenge employees to be more productive
Support and assist the General Manager Implement Productivity Improvements
Study processes using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S Methodology to improve processes and eliminate wasteImprove processes when possible and implement them as new standards
Qualifications
Excellent customer service, problem solving and decision making skills desiredStrong verbal & written communication skillsAbility and availability to work extended hours including nights and weekends as needed by the customerAbility to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering informationKnowledge of Microsoft Office Software requiredDiploma or GED EquivalencyPrior Forklift Experience preferredPrior RF Unit Experience preferredExcellent customer service, problem solving and decision making skills desiredPrior Warehouse Leadership Preferred

Covenant's compensation philosophy's intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company. The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.

Pay Range: $65,228.80-$77,916.80

Pay Grade: 8
